About Us
Our Mission
The Association
of Energy and Environmental Real Estate Professionals (AEEREP) is an
organization whose mission is to
encourage high quality energy and environmental education for real
estate professionals and in turn consumers.
Background
AEEREP recognizes
that the real estate professional sector has been severely underserved
with regard to education on energy and environmental issues. To meet
this demand, AEEREP serves as the
premier professional association providing accurate, timely, and
relevant green market education to the real estate community. Green
market product and service providers realize the real estate
professional has a unique opportunity to influence the real estate
client in constructive “green” directions, i.e. energy efficiency,
renewable energy, and environmental products and services. AEEREP
provides the knowledge and tools for that influence to be effective.
AEEREP’s
visibility in the real estate profession comes largely through our
operating contractor
EcoBroker International.
Together we offer many seminars, classes, and real estate industry
meetings and programs to tens of thousands of real estate practitioners
each year. EcoBroker International manages the EcoBroker Certified®
professional designation for real estate practitioners. AEEREP serves as
the catalyst and provides the financial support for the development and
dissemination of educational material for the real estate profession.
Green industry support is essential to our ongoing ability to
serve this critical and influential market.
AEEREP Board of
Advisors
The Association of Energy and Environmental Real Estate
Professionals benefits from the trusted advice of its board of advisors.
These professionals are leaders in both the public and private sector,
representing the insulation, energy rating, real estate, lending,
insurance, legal, and other industries.
